During an evening with Bob Marley & the Wailers in the background, and on the advice of his friend Jimi Hendrix who appeared to him in the middle of a thick cloud,
Gad decided to create a collection inspired by the icons of Music
. Andy Warhol
who was also around (he saw smoke,
he stepped in ...), insisted that Pop-Art
should also be involved in this crazy project...
Vinyl Factory was born, and nothing would ever be the same in the world of optics ... No more uniforms and routine, make room for madness and bravery,
let the music play !!!
The universe around the brand
After spending several weeks in jail for breaking opticians windows (they could not stand the vision of those insipid and austere visuals hanging in there),
the designers of Vinyl Factory started their redemption by creating eye-catching and original adverts
, with smiling models
Conscious there was also a lot of work to be done for the in-store musical entertainment, they decided to deliver real Vinyl albums
to their customers,
filled with good sound
, miles away from the soup constantly regurgitated by the mainstream public radios…
Finally, being gentle Music psychos
, they decided to spread little clues throughout the world of Vinyl Factory, in order to stir the curiosity of Music Lovers
The creating process of Vinyl Factory requires the utmost precision. Our designers gather in a room without windows and follow a strict diet recommended by
famous icons haunting their tortured minds: Jim Morrison, Bob Marley etc…
The result is vintage shapes rebooted with candy colors
just like the little elephants flying across the room, and details soaked with in musical substance
The guitar neck shaped end-tips inspired by the Fender Jimi
lent Gad during a misty evening, metal rivets inserted like the ones on the belt Sid Vicious forgot on
the coffee table, small golden disc inserts
reminding those Elvis showed us in his flying limousine ...
And since the days following creative sessions are challenging, the sunglasses are polarized with an anti-reflective coating
that protects sensitive eyeballs...
